It was just like an old episode of Good Times where times were tough and the Evans family didn’t know where the rent was going to come from this month. 

It was game 6 and Dwight Howard was suspended 1 game for his elbow. Courtney Lee was out with a fractured nose and may miss a few more games or the rest of the playoffs. The 76ers were knocking on the door and rent was due. The 76ers attitude was “it’s time to pay up bitches, where’s the rent?”. Ah yes the bench and roll players stepped up and picked up the tab in game 6 and crushed the 76ers without their best big man. 

J.J. Redick knocks down 5 3-pointers like he playing back at Duke and the Polish Prince fills in nicely for Howard. Dalembert was punked all night. Hedo was in Dalembert’s ear yapping and gave him a Turkish scrubbing with his beard, but the best play on Dalembert was the monster dunk Gortat threw down on him, see below. 

We can take Rashard Lewis off the milk carton, he was found last night. Lewis led the team with 29 points. Hopefully his play carries over into the next series. 

Looking ahead, I hope we play the Bulls next, but I won’t be disappointed if we get to knock out the Celtics.
